Technical specifications

KLARNET Content Management System uses the following technologies:

  • HTML 4.0
  • CSS 2.0
  • JavaScript 1.2
  • PHP 4.*
  • MySQL 4.*

Server software requirements:

  • UNIX-like operating system (Linux or BSD);
  • MySQL DBMS;
  • Perl 5.8 or higher, PHP interpreter version 4.3 or higher (up to version 5.*), installed as a Web-server module;
  • Support for modules php_gd2, php_iconv, php_xmlrpc, php_domxml, php_xslt in PHP interpreter;
  • Apache 1.3.x Web-server (the option of reconfiguring Apache is required), supporting mod_perl (to provide site search functionality);
  • Mail server Sendmail or similar;
  • RewriteEngine support (through .htaccess).

Recommended minimum server configuration:

Processor Intel Pentium III 800 MHz, 512Mb RAM, 100Mb hard disk space.

Client side:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher (standard configuration).
